The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated the foes for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Explorers and Planners groups.

Fans can look forward to learning which players will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
